Conway the Machine, born Demond Price in Buffalo, New York, is one of the most prolific and respected voices in contemporary East Coast hip-hop. He co-founded Griselda Records with his brother Westside Gunn and cousin Benny the Butcher, building a reputation on uncompromising lyricism and close collaboration with producer Daringer. After surviving a 2012 shooting that partially paralyzed one side of his face, he channeled his experience into music full-time. He departed Griselda and Shady Records in 2022 to run his own imprint, Drumwork, and released his fifth studio album 'You Can't Kill God With Bullets' in December 2025 through Roc Nation Distribution.
