Dan Ringgaard is a professor of Nordic Language and Literature at Aarhus University and a prominent figure in Danish literary scholarship. He has written and edited several books on poetry, literary theory and the role of place in literature. His work focuses especially on the aesthetics of poetry and its relationship to the world beyond the text.
