David Kampmann is a Copenhagen-based Danish guitarist and singer who has been a fixture on the Danish rock and blues scene since the 1990s. He co-founded the rock band Baal in 1994 and has since performed with The Deepers, ZZ Top Jam and his own David Kampmann Trio, where blues, soul and rock meet in a personal, lyrical style. A self-taught guitarist specialising in electric and acoustic blues, slide and fingerpicking, he also teaches at Copenhagen Music Institute and Helsingør Musikskole.
