Dead Poet Society are an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2013 by students at Berklee College of Music. The four-piece - Jack Underkofler, Jack Collins, Dylan Brenner and Will Goodroad - combine down-tuned, heavy guitar work with melodic and progressive elements, a sound AllMusic has called "dark alternative hard rock". Their debut album -!- (2021) brought them international attention, and FISSION (2024) confirmed their standing as one of the more compelling acts in contemporary alternative rock.
