Dissing & Las is a Danish trio made up of brothers Rasmus and Jonas Dissing and guitarist Las Nissen, all of whom spent more than 25 years as close musical collaborators with the singer Povl Dissing. Debuting in 2008, the group has released several critically praised albums of Danish-language rock and blues. Following Povl Dissing's death in the summer of 2022, they launched the tribute project 'Povls Sange Lever Videre', drawing on his repertoire of sea shanties, Laus Bengtson ballads and Shel Silverstein interpretations.
Dissing & Las are touring throughout Denmark in the autumn with the project 'Povls Sange Lever Videre'.
The album 'Bonfire Sessions' is released in 2025 and joins the trio's discography.
The single 'On the other side' is released in 2025.
Povl Dissing passes away in the summer of 2022, and the trio launches 'Povls Sange Lever Videre' as a tribute to his legacy.
