Donald Lawrence (born May 4, 1961, Gastonia, North Carolina) is an American gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and choir director who has shaped contemporary gospel since the early 1990s. He is best known for his work with The Tri-City Singers and for Billboard gospel chart-toppers such as "Encourage Yourself", "The Blessing of Abraham" and "Deliver Me (This Is My Exodus)". His trophy cabinet includes over 30 Stellar Awards, 4 Dove Awards and a Grammy win in 2008, alongside 18 Grammy nominations across his career. In 2020 he was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame.

Lawrence released the live album "Global Love Alive (London)" in 2025, recorded in London with guests such as Bishop John Francis.
Lawrence performed at EJI's Juneteenth celebration in June 2025 in Montgomery, Alabama, together with Yolanda Adams.

Donald Lawrence was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
