Dub Pistols
British reggae and dub act Dub Pistols perform at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen.
Dub Pistols are a London-based electronic band founded in 1996 by Barry Ashworth. Mixing big beat, dub, reggae, ska and drum & bass, they built their reputation on relentless live shows and a string of collaborative studio albums rather than chart hits. "Six Million Ways to Live" (2001/2005) remains their best-known record, though the band has kept releasing new material consistently across three decades.
Dub Pistols released in March 2026 the collaborative album "Enter the Sound" with Freestylers on Cyclone Records - a 12-track album featuring guests such as Tippa Irie, General Levy and Johnny Osbourne.
The band switched in 2026 to self-promoting their British tours and announced a series of UK dates from March to May 2026.
Dub Pistols are on tour in 2026 in 9 countries with 17 planned concerts, including shows in Paris, Lille and Warsaw.
The band held the fifth edition of their own Mucky Weekender festival featuring names such as LTJ Bukem, General Levy and Dreadzone on the bill.
The band planned in 2025 to re-release their debut album "Point Blank" from 1998 on vinyl as well as release a live reggae album.
