Eivør Pálsdóttir is a Faroese singer-songwriter born in 1983 in the small coastal village of Syðrugøta in the Faroe Islands. Across more than ten solo albums she has moved between Faroese folk, jazz, dark electronic pop and cinematic composition - including scores for the BBC series The Last Kingdom and the God of War game franchise. She won the Nordic Council Music Prize in 2021 and is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from the Nordic music scene.
Eivør releases her new album Tungl (Faroese for 'moon') on October 16, 2026 via Nuclear Blast and has unveiled the single 'Verjugarðar / Walls' as a preview.
Eivør released the single 'Healer' - her first new material since the album ENN in 2024 - and announced a North American tour in autumn 2026 and a European tour in spring 2027.
Eivør signed a contract with the record label Nuclear Blast Records and announced her European autumn tour 2025 with Ásgeir as special guest and her younger sister Elinborg as support.
Eivør's North American tour in support of the album ENN was her most successful in North America ever - half of the dates were sold out.
Eivør released her 10th solo album ENN via Season of Mist - a cinematic and electronic album sung exclusively in Faroese.
