Ester Brohus (born 1961 in Hjørring) is a Danish singer-songwriter with a career spanning more than three decades in country, americana and folk. She debuted in 1992 and has since released 14 studio albums, won six Danish Music Awards, and established herself as one of the most respected voices in Danish roots music. Her latest album, "Songwriter" (2026), was recorded at the legendary Sound Emporium Studio in Nashville with producer Kerry Marx - music director of the Grand Ole Opry - and released on Mermaid Records.
