Exelerate are a power thrash metal quartet from Copenhagen, founded in 2012 by Stefan Jensen and Mikkel Henriksen. They combine the aggression of thrash with the melodic sweep of power metal, drawing comparisons to Megadeth, Dio and Flotsam & Jetsam. After their 2023 self-titled debut, the band released their second album 'Hell for the Helpless' in September 2025 - a concept record exploring the darker corners of the human mind.

The band presented the single and music video 'Impending Doom' as the first taste of the upcoming album.
Exelerate supported the album release with an extensive Danish autumn tour, including performances in Copenhagen and Aalborg.
The band performed in Aalborg at Studenterhuset together with Svartsot and Only Human in February 2026.
Nordica LIVE Music Magazine reviewed Exelerate's concert at Rust in Copenhagen on May 14, 2026 as 'an energetic concert filled with melodic heavy metal, speed metal and classic thrash-inspired riffs'.
