
Fastpoholmen
Swedish band Fastpoholmen brings Nordic melancholy and electronic grooves infused with reggae and ska to Islands Brygge.
Fastpoholmen is a Copenhagen-based Danish-Swedish world/reggae/folk band founded in 2007 by cousins Adam and Dawn Fastholm. Adam writes and arranges the music, while the full eight-piece lineup weaves Nordic folk traditions together with reggae, dub and jazz. The band won the Danish Music Award for best world album in 2013 and has performed at Roskilde Festival, Vega and Malmöfestivalen, among others.
Fastpoholmen released the single 'Baby det kalder' in 2025, which is one of the band's newest Danish-language releases.
The single 'Potatis Western' was released in 2025 and is the band's latest Swedish release.
In December 2024, Fastpoholmen released the EP 'Vinter Valoa' with five songs.
The band released the single 'Reggae Hos Lise' in 2024 as part of an active release period.
Fastpoholmen performed at Näsåkers festival in Sweden in August 2025 and has announced concerts in Denmark and Sweden through September 2026.
