Francis of Delirium is the project of Jana Bahrich, a Luxembourg-based indie rock musician born in 2001 or 2002, who grew up in Luxembourg after living in Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Working closely with producer Chris Hewett, she writes, produces and designs most of her output herself, drawing on 90s grunge and the melodic ambition of artists like Sufjan Stevens. Her debut album "Lighthouse" (2024) earned widespread critical praise, and the follow-up "Run, Run Pure Beauty" arrived in 2026 on Dalliance Recordings.
The second album "Run, Run Pure Beauty" was released on June 19, 2026 via Dalliance Recordings, produced by Jana Bahrich and Chris Hewett and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes.
Francis of Delirium announced "Run, Run Pure Beauty" with the single "It's a Beautiful Life" and a major headline tour in Europe and North America in autumn 2026.
The single "Requiem for a Dying Day" was released with a self-produced stop-motion video as a prelude to the new album.
The single "Little Black Dress" was released on September 25, 2025 - the first new material since the debut album "Lighthouse" - and was released the same day as the final concert on the EU tour with Blondshell.
The album track "Ballet Dancers (Never Love Again)" from "Lighthouse" was used in Lena Dunham's Netflix series "Too Much".
