Fredrik Lundin (born 1963 in Copenhagen, raised in Helsingør) is a saxophonist, flutist, composer and bandleader who has been a leading figure in Danish jazz since 1981. He has released more than 16 albums as a leader and appears on over 40 recordings as a sideman or soloist. His awards include five Danish Music Awards, the Ben Webster Prize (2007) and the DJBFA Stamina Prize for lifetime achievement (2019); he also teaches at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
Tone of Voice Orchestra released the album 'Running from the Devil' on November 7, 2025 - recorded in Copenhagen during the period October 2024 to February 2025.
Fredrik Lundin played with the specially assembled 'Hjemmeholdet' at Hornbæk Jazzklub in Kulturhuset Bølgen, Ålsgårde - a concert recorded for Radio Jazz.
The album 'It Takes All Kinds to Make a World' with Odense Jazz Orchestra was released on November 11, 2022 and was Lundin's 16th album as leader.
Tone of Voice Orchestra received the Danish Music Award for Jazz Vocal Album of the Year for their self-titled debut album.
DJBFA awarded Fredrik Lundin the Stamina Prize for his long-standing and sustained efforts on the Danish music scene.
