Jazz at The Living Room feat. Frederik Lundin // Sønderborghus

Den Sønderjyske Hustrio invites you to Jazz at The Living Room at Sønderborghus, featuring Frederik Lundin as guest soloist. Lundin is regarded as one of the most prominent jazz figures of his generation in Scandinavia - he has led projects such as Tone of Voice Orchestra and MaLuBa Orchestra, collaborated with artists including Marilyn Mazur, and has 13 solo albums, numerous Danish Music Awards and the Ben Webster Prize to his name.

Den Sønderjyske Hustrio comprises pianist and composer Steffan Grarup (graduate from Syddansk Musikkonservatorium 2017, also known from the experimental folk band Sjælfugle), bassist Niels Præstholm (a veteran with over forty years on the Danish jazz scene and former collaborator with Kenny Drew, Ernie Wilkins and Sahib Shihab, as well as leader of several incarnations of the orchestra Embla) and drummer Chris Falkenberg, who alongside his work in Sjælfugle and other projects develops his own system for electronic processing of the drum kit.
