Danish rock legends TV-2 perform a semi-acoustic tour of the country's concert halls, featuring four decades of hits with the original lineup.
Georg Olesen (born 14 August 1955) is the bassist of the Aarhus rock band tv·2, which he co-founded in 1981. The band has released 20 studio albums and sold more than two million records in Denmark, with Olesen forming part of the unchanged four-man lineup that has held together for over four decades. Outside tv·2 he has recorded and performed with artists including Lis Sørensen, Allan Olsen, Niels Hausgård and Poul Krebs.
Four tv·2 songs were in the summer of 2026 voted to be among the 100 best Danish songs ever on DR's Top100 list.
tv·2 goes on a semi-acoustic tour in autumn 2026 in eight Danish concert halls - the band's largest indoor concerts to date.
tv·2 played on 4 April 2025 the band's largest headliner concert to date at Royal Arena in Copenhagen - all three scheduled shows were sold out.
The band's 20th studio album, 'Som om vi ikke har mere at sige...', was released on 14 March 2025 and received, among other things, four out of six stars in GAFFA.
In December 2024, the book 'TV-2 - Historien - Pladerne - Sangene' was released, which reviews the band's career album by album up to 2024.
