Guitar Gangsters are a British punk rock band from London, formed in 1987 by brothers Pete and Phil Ley. Drawing on first-wave punk influences - The Ruts, The Boys, Buzzcocks and the Ramones - they released their debut album "Prohibition" in 1989 and soon after opened for Stiff Little Fingers on their comeback UK tour. With more than ten studio albums to their name, the band has long cultivated a loyal following across mainland Europe, especially in Germany.
Guitar Gangsters played a series of club concerts in Germany in July 2025, including in Düsseldorf, Bamberg, Coesfeld and Hamburg.
The band performed at Resolution Festival in London on 9 January 2025.
The live album "Live at the 100 Club" - recorded in January 2020 - received official release in 2025.
Guitar Gangsters released the EP "The Faithful" in 2024, which quickly became one of the band's most streamed releases.
The band released the studio album "Fortune Favours the Brave" in 2022 via Breakout Promotion.
