Helene Blum (born 1979 in Gelsted, Funen) is a Danish singer, songwriter and fiddler rooted in Nordic folk music. She was the first graduate of the folk music programme at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense (2004), and won the Danish Music Award Folk in 2005 for her debut album. Working closely with her husband, fiddler Harald Haugaard, she has performed across Europe, North America and Japan, and since 2007 the pair have run an annual "Nordisk Jul" Christmas tour taking in venues such as the Elbphilharmonie and the Wiener Konzerthaus. Her 2013 album "Men med åbne øjne" was named one of the year's ten best folk albums by The Daily Telegraph, and that same year Blum & Haugaard Band won the European folk prize Eiserner Eversteiner.
In 2026, Helene Blum and Harald Haugaard mark 20 years since the first "Nordisk Jul" concert with a new tour, including at Ferritslev Fritidshus and Johannes Larsen Museet in December.
Blum and Haugaard completed the 19th edition of the "Nordisk Jul" tour in December 2025 with guests from Norway and Sweden, including hardanger fiddle player Tiril Eirunn Einarsdotter.

Blum & Haugaard Band released the album "Den store sommer" on October 20, 2023 - the couple's second joint studio album, recorded at Medley Studios in Copenhagen.
"Nordisk Jul" in Faaborg played to a sold-out hall in December 2024, as it has done for many years.
