Blum and Haugaard and a Massive Choir

Helene Blum and Harald Haugaard present their new choral work "Lykkens skib" at Koncertsalen Alsion in Sønderborg on Sunday, 25 October 2026. The work receives its world premiere as a song cycle in eleven movements, inspired by Johannes V. Jensen's novel "Kongens Fald", performed by approximately 150 singers from Kor72 alongside ensemble and soloist. Koncertsalen Alsion is Southern Jutland's largest concert hall, seating 988 guests and hosting classical music, opera, and lectures. This is the first of three Danish concert dates for the work - Blum and Haugaard will later perform in Kerteminde and Tønder.
