Emma Pilgaard Quintet brings vocal jazz and singer-songwriter music to Sønderborg Jazzclub on the release tour for "A Woman's Voice".
Hilda Nordkvist is a Swedish double bassist from the Malmö area, part of a new generation of young jazz musicians active on the Swedish-Danish scene. She trained at Skurups folkhögskola and performs across a wide range of jazz and improvised music settings, from club nights to festivals on both sides of the Øresund. She is a core member of the Scandi-Baltic ensemble Dubbeltrion, whose 2024 debut album earned five-star reviews across the Nordic countries.
Nordkvist performs as a double bass player on Emma Pilgaard's release tour for the album 'Waiting Game' with concerts including at Kvarterhuset Amagerbro in Copenhagen (18 September 2026).
Nordkvist participates in Malmö Jazz Story 2025 (17-18 October) as part of a quartet with Elias Källvik, Christina von Bülow and Olle Dernevik.
Dubbeltrion, with Nordkvist on bass, performs at Vinterjazz 2025 at Klein in Copenhagen.
Dubbeltrion releases the debut album 'Bringing Scandi-Baltic Powerhouse Jazz to the People', which receives a five-star review in the Norwegian newspaper Klassekampen.
Nordkvist performs at Aarhus Jazz Festival 2024 in a quartet with David Truilo, Miles Mindlin and Nikolaj Bangsgaard.
