Hitmakers Revival is a Danish beat group led by Steen Bergstrøm, a founding member of the original The Hitmakers. Formed in Copenhagen in 1960, The Hitmakers were among the most popular Danish beat groups of the decade, rivalling Defenders and Sir Henry & his Butlers, with 'Stop the Music' (1965) as their landmark hit. Bergstrøm stepped away from performing in 1968 and has since returned with a new lineup to keep the classic 1960s repertoire alive.
Sjællandske Nyheder published in May 2024 a portrait of Steen Bergstrøm on the occasion of his 70th birthday on August 24, with a retrospective of his career in The Hitmakers.
The Hitmakers performed at Pigtrådens 50th Anniversary on November 3, 2012 in Falkoner Salen in Copenhagen with the original members.
