Isotope Soap are a Stockholm-based synthpunk band who have been releasing music since 2016. Led by Peter Swedenhammar, they combine electronically altered vocals, chaotic synth structures and raw punk energy in a sound that draws comparisons to The Screamers, Chrome and The Residents - without ever settling into retro pastiche. After debuting on Levande Begravd Records, they moved to the Swedish label Push My Buttons, and in February 2026 released the double album 'The Century/Rise of The Centaur'.
Maximum RockNRoll reviewed 'The Century/Rise of The Centaur' in May 2026 and praised the band for taking the synthpunk sound in a new direction.
