About

Jarno Varsted is a Danish blues and folk musician whose primary instrument is the harmonica. Born and raised in Denmark, he has been based in Berlin for many years and has toured internationally for over two decades, both as a solo artist and fronting his own bands, Straight From The Harp and Rumspringa. His music is rooted in blues and folk tradition but shaped by an experimental, uncompromising approach. He is also a member of the Danish rock band The Sandmen and is an endorsed player for German harmonica maker Seydel.
