Four Danish jazz musicians celebrate saxophonist John Coltrane's centenary with his compositions, standards and ballads, plus stories about the tenor legend.
Jeppe Gram is a Danish drummer, composer and arranger rooted in jazz, with a broad musical reach that takes in soul, funk and contemporary rhythm. His fourth album, "The Doldrums" (2021), won him Danish Music Awards for Musician of the Year and Jazz Release of the Year. A seasoned sideman and bandleader - notably with his Jeppe Gram Septet - he has worked alongside many of the leading names in Danish jazz. In 2025 he released "Ghost of a City", a large-scale work written for Odense Jazz Orchestra, earning him a further DMA Jazz nomination for Composer of the Year.
