Music House Brønshøj: B-Joe - An Evening in Lades Kælder
B-Joe and his youth band reunite for an evening of music from 1991-92, honouring the legendary venue Lades Kælder, where the band played over 1000 concerts.
Jesper Irn is a Danish drummer who co-founded the acid rock band Azurit in 1985 alongside guitarist B-Joe Johansen and bassist Nils Krøyer. The band became the house act at Lades Kælder on Strøget in Copenhagen, logging over 1,000 concerts before renaming themselves B-Joe in 1990. After the band eventually disbanded, Irn relocated to London and built a career as a record producer under the name Polarbear. He has since reunited with his former bandmates on several occasions.
Azurit played a sold-out concert at Gullanden based on the album Ready To Ride.
Azurit held a 30-year anniversary show at Tante Olga in Randers, where the three original members - including Jesper Irn - reunited.
Jesper Irn performed as a drummer at B-Joe's concert at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge in Copenhagen.
The Azurit trio played a sold-out intimate concert at Mojo Blues Bar in Copenhagen - the first time in years that the three performed on stage together.
