Jordan Rakei is a New Zealand-born singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer now based in London. Since his 2016 debut album Cloak he has built a career blending neo-soul, jazz and electronic production with a warm, soulful voice. He has worked with artists such as Disclosure, Tom Misch and Bonobo, and his album The Loop earned a Best Album nomination at the 2025 Ivor Novello Awards.
Rakei announced his seventh studio album A Safe Place to Be Wild, which will be released on October 30, 2026, along with the lead single Enemies.
The album release was accompanied by the announcement of his largest headlining tour to date in Europe and the UK.
His album The Loop was nominated for Best Album at the Ivor Novello Awards 2025.
A deluxe edition of The Loop was released with new songs and live recordings from Royal Albert Hall.
