Joyce "Baby Jean" Kennedy (born 1948 in Anguilla, Mississippi) is an American singer and co-founder of the funk-rock band Mother's Finest, which she formed in the early 1970s with her husband Glenn Murdock. The band - widely regarded as one of the first multiracial rock groups - earned three gold-certified albums and toured as support for AC/DC, Aerosmith and Black Sabbath. Kennedy also received a Grammy nomination for her duet "The Last Time I Made Love" with Jeffrey Osborne, and released the solo EP Rock'n My Soul in 2022.
