Juan Alberto Borges is a Cuban musician born in Palma Soriano, in Cuba's Santiago de Cuba province, and now based in Denmark. He plays tres and guitar and comes out of the Cuban trova tradition, having performed alongside trovadores from Santiago de Cuba such as Aquino, Robertico and Yon. In Denmark he is a permanent member of the Danish-Cuban band Los Cubraz, which plays salsa and son rooted in the café music of Havana.
