Los Cubraz visits Hornbæk Jazzklub for an evening dedicated to Cuban salsa and son - from beloved classics to newer compositions and original pieces written by the orchestra's members. Throughout the evening, the musicians share stories about the songs' origins and the Cuban musical culture behind them. The sound draws inspiration from the small orchestras that play in cafés and restaurants in Havana - the genre that Buena Vista Social Club made world-famous.
Line-up: Ana Palma (vocals), Maria Carelse (tenor saxophone and vocals), Juan Borges (tres and vocals), Willy Arias (guitar and vocals), Niels Prins (double bass), Kim Adrian (percussion).
Doors open at 18:00, and dinner is served from 18:30 for those with a dinner ticket. Concert starts at 19:30.
