Kaspar Astrup Schröder is a self-taught Danish documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on Japan and its more hidden social realities. His films include "The Invention of Dr. Nakamats" (2009) and "Rent a Family Inc." (2012), both available on Filmstriben. His latest, "Ensom i Tokyo", examines the loneliness crisis in contemporary Japan.
