Kevin Hays (born May 1, 1968, in New York City) is an American jazz pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter who grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. He began playing professionally as a teenager and has since released more than twenty albums as leader or co-leader, including three for Blue Note Records. A Grammy winner, he has collaborated with musicians ranging from Sonny Rollins and Brad Mehldau to Lionel Loueke, and The New Yorker has praised his melodic charm and sense of style.
