About the venue

Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg is one of Denmark's leading museums for modern and contemporary art. The building was designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and opened in 1972 - widely regarded as a work of art in its own right. The permanent collection spans Danish and international art from the 20th and 21st centuries, alongside a regular programme of temporary exhibitions.
