About

KK - born Kristján Kristjánsson in 1956 in Minnesota to Icelandic parents - grew up in Iceland from the age of ten and spent five years busking across Europe before settling in Reykjavík in 1990. A blues and folk musician with more than 20 albums to his name, he has won the Icelandic Music Prize twice and is widely regarded as one of Iceland's most beloved singer-songwriters.
