35plus-core: MADSEN & HANSEN / EKS-MÆND / HOLD KÆFT

The 35plus-core label brings together three bands making music about life after 35 - specifically the life that white men over 35 know all too well.

MADSEN & HANSEN is the folk duo behind Marc Facchini and Mads Fisker. Two guitars, two voices, and songs about friendships that fray, silence in relationships, and apologies that never quite make it out of your mouth. EKS-MÆND features upright bass, electric mandolin, and a self-invented genre they call acousti-punk at pavement level - crude sea shanties and cheeky spoken word with hints of afrobeat and bossa nova, all wrapped in bittersweet Dan Turell lyrics about middle-class everyday life. HOLD KÆFT closes the night with what they call farpunk: three fathers, four chords, and 1000 frustrations hurled straight at the audience. Ramones meets AULA at full speed.

The event is primarily aimed at white men over 35, but everyone else is of course welcome. Doors at 19:30, concert starts at 20:00. Advance tickets: 100 kr. (+ fee) / Door: 120 kr.
