Mads la Cour is a jazz musician from Funen who plays trumpet and flugelhorn. He is part of a trio together with saxophonist Morten Øberg and pianist/organist Povl Christian Balslev, performing jazz-inspired versions of melodies from the Danish Højskolesangbogen and hymn book. The trio regularly tours churches and cultural venues in Denmark, blending familiar tunes with improvisation and occasional sing-alongs.
