About
Lagos Thugs NG is a Nigerian afrobeat band from Lagos, founded in 2020 by singer and saxophonist Adetunji Adeyemi. The 10-12 piece group draws on Fela Kuti's classic afrobeat sound, built on hypnotic polyrhythms, horn arrangements and call-and-response. Their 2024 debut album "Chaos" cemented their place on the contemporary afrobeat scene, and they have shared stages with artists such as Seun Kuti and Antibalas.
