Laibach October 2026
Slovenian industrial pioneers Laibach take the stage at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen.
Laibach are a Slovenian avant-garde and industrial group from Trbovlje, founded in 1980 during the Yugoslav era. As the musical arm of the Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) art collective, they built a reputation for confrontational performances that weaponise totalitarian imagery, heavy sound and political theatre. Their 1987 album "Opus Dei" brought them international attention, and in 2015 they became the first Western band to perform in North Korea. Their 2026 album "MUSICK" is their first record of original studio material since "Spectre" in 2014.
Laibach released the album "MUSICK" on May 1, 2026 via Mute Records - their first album with original studio material since "Spectre" in 2014.
The band is undertaking an extensive European MUSICK tour from May to October 2026, with stops in Aarhus, Köln, Helsinki, Oslo and Berlin, among others.
In November 2025, Laibach released "Laibach 40", an LP reissue marking the band's 40th anniversary.
In May 2025, "Alamut" was released, a symphonic album created in collaboration with RTV Slovenia's symphony orchestra and based on the novel of the same name.
"Opus Dei Revisited" was released on December 13, 2024 via Mute Records - a reinterpretation of the 1987 classic with remixes by original producer Rico Conning.
