The Legendary Pink Dots
Experimental electronic pioneers The Legendary Pink Dots take the stage at Musik Loppen in Copenhagen.
The Legendary Pink Dots are an Anglo-Dutch experimental rock band formed in London in August 1980, who relocated to Amsterdam in 1984 and have been based in the Netherlands for most of their career. Led by singer, keyboardist and lyricist Edward Ka-Spel, the band draws on psychedelia, synth pop, krautrock, folk and ambient music to create a sound that resists easy categorisation. With more than 47 studio albums, they are one of the underground's most prolific acts, sustained by a devoted worldwide following rather than mainstream recognition. In 2022, co-founder Phil Knight (aka The Silverman) retired after 42 years, with longtime collaborator Randall Frazier joining as his replacement.
The Legendary Pink Dots is confirmed as a participant at XXV Industrial Festival in Wroclaw in November 2026.
The band is undertaking a major USA tour in September-October 2026 with dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and New York, among others.
Edward Ka-Spel announced his new solo album 'Hallucinating Happy Land' via the band's official news page.
The band completed a 45-year anniversary tour in both the USA and Europe in 2025.
Co-founder Phil Knight (alias The Silverman) left the band after 42 years, and Randall Frazier joined as the new permanent member.
