About

Lau Højen is the lead vocalist and guitarist of Carpark North, an electronic rock trio from Aarhus he co-founded with Søren Balsner and Morten Thorhauge in 1999. The band broke through with their 2003 debut, which went platinum in Denmark, and have since become one of the country's most enduring rock acts. Højen is the band's primary lyricist, most recently behind the double album 'AIR' (2024-2025), drawn from personal experiences across three years of writing.
