Lord Finesse
Lord Finesse brings 1990s hip-hop and funk to Musik Loppen in Copenhagen.
Lord Finesse (born Robert A. Hall Jr., February 19, 1970) is an American rapper, producer and DJ from The Bronx, New York. He founded the East Coast collective Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.) and stands as one of the most respected figures in 1990s underground hip-hop, celebrated for his precise flow, sharp punchlines and heavy boom-bap production. As a producer he left his mark on classics including The Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Suicidal Thoughts' and much of Big L's debut album - and it was Finesse who first discovered Big L freestyling in a Harlem record store.
Lord Finesse released the new project 'The SP 1200 Project: Sounds & Frequencies in Technicolor' in 2025.
Lord Finesse played a European tour in September 2025 with shows in Belgium and the United Kingdom, among others.
The Awakening from 1996 was re-released as a 25-year anniversary remaster in 2021.
