Malk de Koijn
Danish indie-rock band Malk de Koijn takes the stage at Studenterhuset in Aalborg.
Malk De Koijn is a Danish rap trio formed in 1994 by Tue Track, Geolo Geo and Blæs Bukki. Their 1998 debut Smash Hit in Aberdeen and the 2002 follow-up Sneglzilla - winner of two Danish Music Awards and album of the year across the national press - established them as one of the most influential acts in Danish hip hop. After a hiatus, they returned with Toback to the Fromtime (2011), which hit number one in Denmark. In 2025 they released the EP Nummer 5, their first new music in 14 years, and are booked for the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival 2026.
Malk De Koijn performs on Orange Scene at Roskilde Festival 2026 - 14 years after their last performance on the same stage.
The EP Number 5 is released on vinyl on September 5, 2025 - the band's first new release in 14 years.
Gaffa reviews Number 5 and concludes that Malk De Koijn is back in a class of their own.
Malk De Koijn plays two sold-out evenings at Poolen in Copenhagen on September 19 and 20, 2025.
The band performs at NorthSide Festival in Aarhus as part of their 30-year anniversary tour.
