Middle East Peace Ensemble is a Danish ensemble founded in 2003 by oboist Henrik Goldschmidt, then principal oboist of the Royal Danish Orchestra. It brings together Jewish, Arab and Christian musicians in a repertoire ranging from klezmer and Middle Eastern maqam to classical works and Nordic songs, with each piece introduced from the stage. The ensemble has toured worldwide, performing in concert halls across Copenhagen, Stockholm, Dresden, Munich, Paris, New York and Jerusalem.

Henrik Goldschmidt received in November 2022 the honorary prize of 750,000 kr. from the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Foundation.
Goldschmidt received in September 2021 as the first Dane ever the PL-prize of 100,000 kr. for his work with musical collaboration across cultures.
