Mika Vandborg is a Danish guitarist, singer and songwriter born in Aarhus in 1971, who has shaped Danish rock and blues since the 1990s. He is one half of the guitar duo Electric Guitars with Søren Andersen, and has long been a fixture alongside acts such as Gnags, Love Shop and Dicte. His two Danish-language solo albums - "Den Danske" (2022) and "Den Evige Toer" (2023) - earned five-star reviews in Gaffa and marked a more personal chapter in his songwriting. The BLAA Vandborg project grew out of a sold-out Eric Clapton tribute concert at Amager Bio in 2025, bringing Vandborg together with a band of seasoned musicians for a set rooted in blues, soul and rock.
BLAA Vandborg played at Tante Olga in Randers on March 20, 2026, and the band has already booked the first jobs in 2027 and is working on writing songs for two new single releases.
