MNEK - born Uzoechi Emenike in 1994 in Lewisham, South London, to Nigerian parents - is a British singer, songwriter and producer whose credits span over 15 years of pop history. He has written and produced for Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Madonna, Zara Larsson and BTS, with songs bearing his name accumulating over 4 billion streams combined. As a solo artist and featured vocalist, he is best known for "Head & Heart" with Joel Corry, which hit number one in the UK in 2020 and surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams, and he is a Grammy Award winner.
MNEK signed a global agreement with Sony Music Publishing UK, covering his future releases.
MNEK was nominated for the Grammy Awards 2026 in the Best Dance Pop Recording category for Zara Larsson's album "Midnight Sun", to which he contributed.
MNEK released the singles "WILL SMITH" and "Crystallise My Tears" (the latter with Danny L Harle and Oklou) and appeared on Zara Larsson's fifth studio album "Midnight Sun".
MNEK launched his own record label, MuzoByUz, with Tyler Lewis as the first signed artist.
