Molina x Kunst på Barsel
Molina performs a morning concert for parents on parental leave with babies at Lygten Station. Danish-Chilean producer Rebecca Molina presents her debut album featuring fuzzy guitars and ethereal vocals.
Molina is the project of Danish-Chilean producer and composer Rebecca Molina (b. 1992), based in Copenhagen. Her music sits at the intersection of sample-based electronics and hand-played instrumentation, built around fuzzed-out guitars, ethereal vocals and a shoegazey dream-pop sensibility. Her debut album When You Wake Up (2024, Escho) drew on family, history and shared roots, and earned her a place among Copenhagen's most closely watched experimental pop artists.
Molina announced the upcoming single Golden Brown Sugar via Escho ahead of a North American tour in March 2026.
The new single Golden Brown Sugar marks a rhythmic shift in Molina's production with chopped and resampled percussive arrangements.
Molina is booked for Dekmantel Festival in Amsterdam - her debut at the festival.
The debut album When You Wake Up was released on October 11, 2024 on Escho and received a review score of 76 from Pitchfork.
Crack Magazine described Molina as "a cornerstone of contemporary experimental music".
