Molina x Kunst på Barsel · Lygten Station, Copenhagen

Molina morning concert at Lygten Station: Friday 18 December 2026, 10:00–11:00, Lygten Station, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 200 kr.

The last Friday of each month, Kunst på Barsel invites parents on parental leave with babies to morning concerts at venues across the city - tailored to new parents with a baby in their arms. Sound levels, timing, and setting are adapted for the youngest.

Molina is Danish-Chilean producer and composer Rebecca Molina (b. 1992), based in Copenhagen. Her music revolves around contrasts: between the unintended and the controlled, the atmospheric and the pulsing. Her debut album When You Wake Up (2024, Escho) is built from fuzzy guitars, ethereal vocals, and an interplay between digital and hand-played sounds - a magical-realist universe that touches on family, history, and shared roots, seen through a surrealist lens. The album placed Molina in the contemporary Copenhagen music scene alongside names like ML Buch, Fine, Astrid Sonne, and Clarissa Connelly. In 2023, Rebecca became a mother to her daughter, Lucca.

All concerts conclude with a conversation with the artist about the relationship between parenthood and artistic practice. Kunst på Barsel works for equality, sustainability, and inclusion in cultural life by giving space to artistic voices that often fall silent in the transition to parenthood.

The concert takes place Friday, December 18, 2026, at Lygten Station and is created in collaboration with Lygten Station with support from Copenhagen Municipality and Koda Kultur. Free for members on parental leave of the Danish Musicians' Union, Danish Artists' Union, DPA, or Autor - find more information from your union or organization. Read more at www.kunstpaabarsel.com
