About

Mondo Drag are an American psychedelic rock band originally from Davenport, Iowa, now based in Oakland, California. Core members John Gamiño (keyboards/vocals), Nolan Girard and Jake Sheley have played together since childhood, and since their 2010 debut have built a catalog of four albums rooted in 70s prog, krautrock and heavy psych. They are known for Gamiño's Hammond organ, crushing riffs and extended compositions, as well as a live reputation earned alongside acts like High On Fire, Dead Meadow and Pentagram.
