Montañera is the music project of Colombian singer-songwriter María Mónica Gutiérrez. Based in London, her sound moves between electronic, folkloric and ambient territory, balancing intimacy with experimentation. She has performed at festivals including SXSW, WOMAD and Lollapalooza, and her music has featured in Netflix series. Her latest album, A Flor de Piel (2023), is her most fully realised work to date.
