Morten Lund (born 1972 in Viborg) is one of Denmark's most sought-after jazz drummers, trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. He is best known as co-leader of the trio with pianist Stefano Bollani and bassist Jesper Bodilsen, which has toured internationally since 2003 and released albums on Stunt and ECM Records. As a sideman he has appeared on more than 60 albums, working alongside Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava and Sinne Eeg, among others; in 2006 he received the Ben Webster Prize.
