About

Nightrage is a Greek-Swedish melodic death metal band founded in 2000 in Thessaloniki by guitarist Marios Iliopoulos, following the breakup of his previous band Exhumation. The group relocated early on to Gothenburg, Sweden, to tap into the local melodic death metal scene, and debuted in 2003 with "Sweet Vengeance" on Century Media - featuring Tomas Lindberg of At the Gates on vocals. Across two decades and ten studio albums, the band has drawn in notable collaborators including Gus G. and Jesper Strömblad.
