Musikhuset Posten is one of Funen's leading music venues, housed in a former parcel post building next to Odense Central Station. It opened in 1984 as Rytmeposten and was renamed in 2007 when a new main hall seating 900 was added. The programme covers rock, jazz, blues, indie and world music, with both up-and-coming acts and established national and international artists. The acoustics are widely praised as among the best in Scandinavia. The venue is owned by Odense Municipality and run by Odense Live Fonden.
